All events listed take place at The Paley Center for Media in New York, 25 West 52 Street, New York, NY, between Fifth and Sixth Avenues.
Ticket Policies
Events and participants are subject to change without notice. No refunds or exchanges. Four-ticket limit per person, per event. All seating is general admission; no reserved seating. Premium seating for Producers Circle Members at Producers Circle events only.

· In Person: Tickets for all events are available at the front desk, Tues to Sun, 12:00 to 6:00 pm; Thurs to 8:00 pm.

 Online ticketing closes two hours before a scheduled event. Tickets may still be purchased in person up until the time of the event. |

George Gershwin and Kay Swift:
An Evening of Song and Television

Klea Blackhurst, and Jimmy Ray Bennett
Thursday, May 15, 2008; 6:00 to 7:30 pm
Tony Awardwinner Christine Ebersole and other Broadway stars will be at the Paley Center to perform the songs of George Gershwin and Kay Swift, the first woman to write a complete score for a Broadway musical (Fine and Dandy). Musical director Aaron Gandy will provide commentary—interspersed with rare radio and television clips from the Paley Center's collection—on how the lives of these two songwriters intersected in the twenties and thirties.

Nice 'n' Easy:
The Lyrics of Alan and Marilyn Bergman
Wednesday, May 21, 2008; 6:00 to 7:30 pm
In a partnership spanning more than fifty years, lyricists Alan and Marilyn Bergman have proven themselves a formidable presence in all media. In addition to working with such musical giants as Barbra Streisand and Frank Sinatra, they have provided the unforgettable theme songs for such series as Maude and Good Times, and collaborated on the Emmy-winning television movie Queen of the Stardust Ballroom. The Bergmans will discuss their career and Alan will perform some of the songs that made them famous.

"Applause, Applause"
A Salute to Charles Strouse

Monday, June 2, 2008; 6:00 to 7:30 pm
The Paley Center will pay tribute to the composer on the occasion of his eightieth birthday. It's an evening of rare television footage, a live piano performance by Strouse, and a panel discussion with stars and other associates from his many Broadway shows (including Bye Bye Birdie, Golden Boy, Applause, Annie, and Rags) and his music for film and television—most notably the iconic theme song from All in the Family.
