Summary
The premiere of this comedy series about a group of regulars at a Boston bar. In this episode, Diane Chambers and Sumner Sloane are on their way to Barbados to get married. Before they leave, Sumner decides he wants to give Diane his grandmother's ring, so he visits his ex-wife to get it back from her. In the end, he takes his ex-wife to Barbados instead of Diane, and Diane goes to work as a waitress for Sam Malone, the owner of Cheers.
