Summary

This animated children's program from Finland, which features English narration and a unique stop-motion animation process with cut-out figures, tells the frank but optimistic story about the impact of divorce on a young boy. As the program begins, the narrator explains why Matt's unhappy parents got married. After his parents decide to get a divorce, Matt talks to his friend Larry about the matter. When Matt angrily confronts his parents without understanding what divorce means, his father tries to explain the situation and the meaning of divorce. The program portrays the changes in the boy's home life and his relationship with his parents after the divorce, as well as the feelings of loneliness that cause nightmares. He experiences confusion when his mother begins dating again and eventually finds another man in his mother's bed. This program is recommended for older children. No commercials.
