Summary

One in this series of programs dramatizing current news events. The first ten minutes of the show features segments on a ship that sunk off the coast of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, an area known as "the graveyard of the Atlantic"; and on the death of the last Japanese man to graduate from the U.S. Naval Academy with the class of 1881. The last ten minutes include segments on Haile Selassie, the emperor of Ethiopia, now living in poverty in England; an escapee from an insane asylum disrupting a ceremony in London honoring the British war dead; and a British Parliamentary debate on air raid civil defense measures.
