The Paley Center presents a star-studded sneak peek at FX’s highly anticipated original TV adaptation of the Coen brothers’ Oscar-winning film, a ten-episode limited series premiering on April 15. Billy Bob Thornton, Martin Freeman, Colin Hanks, and Allison Tolman headline the cast of the series, which pivots on an all-new crime story and follows a gallery of new, sharply drawn characters, all entrenched in the trademark humor, suspense, and "Minnesota nice" that distinguished the 1996 film. Bob Odenkirk, Oliver Platt, Keith Carradine, Kate Walsh, Glenn Howerton, Joey King, Adam Goldberg, Russell Harvard, Keegan-Michael Key, and Jordan Peele help round out the miniseries’s colorful cast of recurring characters. Fargo is written by Noah Hawley, who exec produces along with former NBC programming chief Warren Littlefield, Joel & Ethan Coen, and Geyer Kosinski.
